Farm Jobs and Apprenticeships
About Us
Red Door Family Farm is located in Athens, WI. We sell the highest quality produce through our CSA, farmers market, wholesale accounts, and sell to local food pantries in the Wausau, Marshfield, and Athens areas. Our focuses are:
Producing the highest quality, cleanest, and aesthetically beautiful produce available. We take great pride and care in feeding people!
Soil Health- making our own compost, dialing micronutrients, cover cropping, reducing tillage, etc
Food Security- working closely with our local food pantries. Fundraising through grant writing and an annual farm to table dinner to share our produce with the most food insecure. More than half of our produce goes to food insecure families!
Hoop house production- we grow the highest quality produce and a rich and diverse CSA because of our 6 large hoop houses.
About Athens, WI
Athens is a small charming town about 40 minutes outside of Wausau. Despite its size, it is a bustling town with a library, school, grocery store, hardware store, and artisan shops.
